I am Aanujj Kapoor, Founder and Designer of Aanujj Kapoor Laybels — a Noida-based luxury Indian fashion Label creating bespoke wedding couture, contemporary Indian occasion wear and personalised wardrobes.

My work sits at the intersection of Indian craftsmanship and modern design. I am particularly interested in creating garments that are not simply worn for an occasion, but become part of the story surrounding it.

At Aanujj Kapoor Laybels, we work across bridal couture, groom couture, bridal trousseau, sarees, lehengas, sherwanis, Indo-Western silhouettes and occasion wear for the wider wedding wardrobe. Our approach is rooted in customisation, craftsmanship, fit and understanding the individual behind the garment.

I believe luxury fashion should feel personal. A garment should reflect the person wearing it — their personality, celebration, culture and way of life — rather than simply reproduce a trend.

Sustainability is another important part of my design journey. Through Sustainable Fashion by AK and projects such as Punarva, I explore how existing fabrics, dead-stock materials and traditional craft can be reinterpreted into contemporary fashion instead of being overlooked or discarded.

My journey began with a hands-on understanding of fabrics, fittings, customisation and the craft behind Indian clothing. Today, I am focused on building Aanujj Kapoor Laybels into a distinctive Indian fashion house while continuing to learn, experiment and create responsibly.
